Default Morimoto install

I recently installed morimoto hybrid xb headlights. Install went fine. Problem is that when the car is in park, just the led drl lights are on. As soon as I shift out of park, the low beam led lamps and drl come on simultaneously. It doesn’t matter what setting my headlights are on or if I’m in reverse, neutral or drive.

I don’t seem to have the issue where the lights remain on for an extended period of time.

I also used the fuse recommended in the install video.

also, I can not adjust the passenger lamp at all. I turn and turn the adjuster every which direction to no avail.

Thoughts? I’m that guy driving around with the lights on all day errr day.

Have you done any forscan changes? was it light out and in the sun when you did this? what is your headlight switch set to?

i doubt its the DRL fuse that's causing it but you can unplug it and see if the behavior changes as well

Sounds like you have a canadian truck where the headlights come on anytime you shift out of park.

Yes. Sounds like the headlights are also set as running lights.
