True. However, I bought the morimoto 2stroke 2.0 for the 3 year warranty. Also, the light output and pattern is great in my Anzo projectors.

Same reason I bought mine. Also got them during a 15%off eBay sale.

Hi there Oman! Do you have any output shots of your morimotos in the anzos? I'm thinking about doing the same thing and debating between that and SL1's... Did you have to modify the dust cap or did they install fine without? Thanks!

I know my opinion doesn't mean squat, but as a owner of Morimoto (former owner) and Diode Dynamics (current owner, just not SL1's) I would say Diode Dynamics is hands down a better product. I have never had a DD bulb go bad, but have had numerous issues with Morimoto bulbs/products. So much, that I will NEVER buy Morimoto again.

As far as I can tell, I don't see that DD sells an H7 SL1 that would fit the Anzo housing... ??

The OP never asked about Anzo. I have done retrofits, baked open lights to paint amd dabbled with led, halogen, hid. I like to think I know what works.....lol. Maybe I'm just a fool.

Hi. No I do not have any photos right now but I get around to taking some later. The pattern is perfect with clear cutoffs. No modifications needed whatsoever. They fit right in. The Canbus was also not needed.

I have SL1s in my 2018 both high and low beams. One low beam failed completely after about 2-3 months but they sent out a replacement immediately. The ballasts fit behind the dust caps with no modifications. Light output and color are great.
