Default More ordering advice please

Seems sales guys no little when it comes to pricing the extra package s.I'm somewhat settled on a 6.6" box crew 4x4 in xlt 302a package. I had it priced with 3.55 axle and brake controller.Upon looking I see if you get max tow you get the upgrade d axel and brake control plus a bunch of extra capacity coolers for only $200 more, seems the better deal as I am always towing something.
Next up is I wanted buckets and the are $380 extra but for a measly $500 you can add the sport package which gives you black cloth seats which I prefer. On top of that you get the mono chromatic look which I prefer to the traditional chrome. Only thing I would be missing is my front tow hooks. So for and extra $120 you get a ton of content.
Is there anything else I might be missing. I'm still, deciding on 5.0 or eco I've only driven the eco. I'll be try a 5.0 today with 3.73 if they have one.

Truck will be a 3 year lease as I can write it off .I did price a base line lariet but the residual is too low jumps the payment by about $100/month.Truck I'm looking at is $570 month, which is enough. Kinda bummed you can't get auto climate control without the big jump to lariet. I've had it in my last 3 silverado s and it's nice.

You are right. Many salesmen don't know the best ways to spec a truck based on Ford's package pricing. My advice is to use the B&P Website and their Order Guide yourself to verify the best solution for you. If you have specific questions at that point the salesman might be more helpful.

I think the NADA site has the easiest page for playing with various configurations. Everything is on a single page.

www.nada.com

NADA is a good reference for options and MSRP but as accurate on invoice. Most dealerships will show you the invoice if asked!
