Default Modify XLT grill for 360 camera

Has anyone attempted to modify an XLT 5 bar grill to add the OEM front camera? I have all the OEM brackets and have studied pictures of the OEM mounting points. It looks like I could plastic weld or screw blocks in behind the emblem and behind 2 of the lower bars to get some mounting points. Question:
is what material/what type of glue would I need?
is there enough meat in the grill to just drill/tap holes to secure custom blocks/brackets instead of glue?

i haven’t pulled the grill yet as it looks fairly time consuming and want to have a plan before I do pull it.

I know the easiest would be to get a Lariat grill but I like my 5 bar chrome grill and don’t want to lose the
OEM look.

I purchased this camera from Amazon and mounted it on my XLT.

Easy mount. 3m tape and a couple small screws

Hardly noticeable

$30.00 off Amazon
