Default Misfire after engine replacement

Hello all, I have a 2018 F150 5.0 with 150k miles that I hade the whole cam phaser replacement job done back in January at a local mechanic shop. Got the truck back and it wouldn’t start a short time later. Had a mobile mechanic come out and determined the timing was off due to the exhaust sucking air using the dollar bill test. Had the truck towed back to the same local shop that completed the work, and they determined it needed new CATS, new engine, new ECU, new injectors. Shop replaced all of these things free of charge and got the truck back and it would misfire under about 1/4 throttle, check engine light would flash and truck would lose power. Brought the truck in to Ford dealer and they advised it needed new upper and lower fuel injectors. Had injectors replaced and truck still has the same issue. Does anyone have any idea of what this problem might be? Thanks in advance!

What is the code? Did the shop actually replace the CATS, new engine, new ECU, new injectors free of charge, I doubt it. I am at 155K with my 2018 5.0 with a replaced engine April 2024 and no issues with the engine or misfires. I did replace my Bank 2 Cat a few thousand miles ago but that was due to the previous engine burning oil and it deadlined the CAT on that side. What codes are you receiving for the misfires?

Good luck

Tom
