problem is the sales man that sold me the truck says the tow mirrors can be swapped for the regular Platinum mirrors as long as they have all the same options.

moving Forded I called ford parts and they said there is a mirror available that’s not as big and bulky as the tow one With all the same options expect it dosnt have the the surround view camera .

They don’t know what will happen if I install this all I want is to install a oem ford mirror that has all the options exact not bulky can some

one please confirm this I’m so lost .

 

With the electronics these trucks have I would expect you to get an error message of some sort if the truck didn't find the cameras.

 

I would suggest posting a offer to trade your tow mirrors for non-tow that are equipped the same. there are a lot of guys that wished they had your mirrors, and would probably gladly swap even trade for them.
If/when you do get non tow mirrors you will probably also need to swap the driver's side window controller as they are different between tow & non tow setup

 

If you want the actual part numbers for non tow loaded mirrors I can get them from the ones I took off of my truck.

Edit: I saw you made another post stating your truck is a 2015, the part numbers I used for loaded regular power fold mirrors on my 2015 are:

FL3Z-17683-PB Left Mirror -Power-Fold, BLIS, Spot, Puddle, Camera
FL3Z-17682-PB Right Mirror -Power-Fold, BLIS, Spot, Puddle, Camera

These numbers will give you the mirror you want WITH the cameras

Firerunner , These part numbers are great the only problom is I want mine to have the chrome on there cause my tow oem ones do .

the other thing is my spot light dosnt work when I press the button nothing happens I wonder if the module is there.... I’ll check for this tommorw .

im kind of confused just because the parts guy at ford told me your truck is not equipped with spot lights and then clearly it does and has the buttons of the dash for it as well it’s 2015 platinum ....
