Default Mirrors freaking out

So yesterday I started my truck and the mirrors sewed all the way in and down then started clicking. Both passenger and driver did this. I had to turn truck off open door and get back in and start it to make it stop. Seemed like a freak glitch.

Has any one had this happen and should I be worried?

Do your mirrors have memory? Did somebody select a memory number that didn't have a saved position?

Ya they do, I did hit the #1 saved one. My wife drove her earlier in the day.

Mine did this last night - I hit the door "unlock" button - and both mirrors went all the way down and kept trying to (click click click) - had to start/stop the truck to reset..

has only freaked out once - so not worried about taking it in for that..

You sure you didn't hit the memory #3 button that you don't have programmed?

You might have to program all the memory buttons. I every time I manually move the mirror when washing or whatever I always reprogram the my memory button after readjusting it by the buttons.

I only have #1 programmed but I am the only one who drives it so I haven't had any issued yet. One of my other trucks did what yours did when I first bought it when I incorrectly started programming it while driving down the road. It was frustrating

Where would you go if you don't know where to go.. Put a memory location in it..

I'm getting that way myself.. Good thing I have the navigation in my truck so I can just tell her that I want to go to my home.. And she remembers where it is and even guides me turn by turn.. Then the truck reminds me to turn it off...

Next year I'll need something to remind me why I'm in the truck in the first place..

Just noticed this is my 2000 post,, and I have no idea what the heck I could of posted 2000 times...
