Default Mirrors

My 2019 XL has standard mirrors want to install tow mirrors. Purchases set from American Trucks with running/turn signals. Upgrade for my truck. Question is how do I het power to the mirrors for the lights to work. Have the 22-8 pin connector but can't find power in the door harness to plug into. What am I missing??

unfortunately your XL isn’t equipped in the cab to run those. You will have to do a whole cut and splice add on. 1aauto.com (YouTube ) 2015-2017 f150 tow mirror install will guide you thru the install

All you can do without adding wires in the door would be to splice the running light wire to the turn signal wire on the provided 8 to 22 pin harness.

That will have the amber front running lights flash with the rear firing amber turn signals so the front lights aren’t completely useless.

that’s what I did.

If you go to Boost Auto Parts, they have a very good tutorial that will show you where/how.. They have you grab power in the connector inside the door jamb.
