Hi Everyone.....

I've searched and could not find an answer....... I went to try to adjust (tilt glass) on my mirrors yesterday and they both seem to be getting stuck. I can hear the mechanism try to move the mirror but they are not moving in specific directions

Passenger side: moves VERY slow inward and down..... fine outward and up
Diver side: moves outward EXTREMELY slow and only by tapping the button.... will not move if I just leave the button pressed.... no down movement at all...... moved fine inward and up

If I get someone to lightly press the glass in the direction I want, then they move quick....

any help is appreciated

 

This is probably no help but last month I took mine in because the passenger side mirror would not move out, up and down and in was ok but not out. They ordered an new motor and installed it.
The Tech told me that it uses plastic gears.

 

Yup gear are likely stripped
