Default Minor Issue

My 2017 Lariat suddenly stopped giving me the beeping sound when backing up. The BU cameria works fine but there’s no sound anymore backing up and starting getting close to objects. I checked all the wires and everything seems fine. I suspect it’s probably a sensor and since there are 4 of them in the bumper I have an appointment with my dealer next week. Just wondering if others experienced the same condition and was it a sensor? I do have a ESP plan so the most I can pay will be a 100 dollars. Thanks

A DTC scan with FORScan or a diagnostic scan tool should tell you which sensor is not working.

B1B44 is Right Rear Outer Sensor
B1B46 is Right Rear Inner Sensor
B1B48 is Left Rear Outer Sensor
B1B50 is Left Rear Inner Sensor

I have not seen too many posts about bad sensors. Mostly the problems are with water intrusion at the connector.

Parking aid sensor replacement in my older gen with the same symptoms fixed it. Think sensor was probably damaged by pressure washing mud off the bumper. My sensors look potted but they have gaskets a high pressure spray could defeat. $100 for that repair is a bargain.
