I have the MBRP 2 1/2" Cat Back, Dual Side Exit (S5254BLK) on my 2016 3.5 EB and initially wasn't very happy with the sound. It sounded good at idle and under low RPMs but was rather unflattering under load. I came across this post (https://www.f150forum.com/f118/activ...le-how-312261/) about the F-150's with the EcoBoost motor having "fake" engine noise and decided to try the fix on mine. This article only applies to F-150s with the Sony sound system, which I have. Sure enough, it greatly quieted down the exhaust sound in the interior which I believe was making it sound worse than it actually was. Granted, it's still a 6 banger and you're not going to make it sound like a V8, but I'm pretty pleased with my exhaust now. Looks sharp on the truck and is definitely an improvement over the stock exhaust.

Its ok to have the choice and I don't judge, but for me I don't get it. Its only going to make the truck louder both inside and out. The point is to keep the noise out of the cab yet have incredible power at your fingertips to move stuff. Goal accomplished, and it now gets even more powerful at least in the Raptor.

If the Corsa wasn't $1,200, it'd be my choice. But I'd still want to hear it in person on the 2.7 before buying.

That pretty much sums it up for me as well. The days of real bolt on power with an exhaust are long gone. It's only about the sound and maybe saving a little weight.

it kinda does at idle lol

nope, definitely doesn't sound like a honda

I think the ecos sound alright with most exhausts, its just strange hearing a note like that coming from a truck.

Also the muffler that came with the system blew the rear out after some hard runs, that's really not what I'd call a great build quality, especially from a s/s exhaust. Thinking about a flowmaster laminar(14020100) to replace one of them. But on a positive note I do have to say the Tip is MASSIVE at more than 5 inches across.
Update on this one, Finally got a sound I like, Used the MBRP quiet tone for front muffler and added a 4 inch Flowmaster Pro Series Muffler for the second # 14020100 http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...eries-mufflers Now it's quiet, deep & throaty, and still has oodles of power & no ricer noise.

So you replaced the resonator with a muffler? The truck stock doesn't have two mufflers.

No I replaced the entire cat back system with the MBRP 4 inch system S5248304 http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...A1966A0A0.aspx
It seemed too loud and ricey, but great power. So I added a second muffler behind the original system muffler, also a MBRP, their quiet series Part # M1004http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...A6675A0A0.aspx
Still a bit loud, but it was bearable. Then the original muffler that came with the system blew the back out. so I then moved the quiet tone to the front position and added the Flowmaster to the rear position. guess I'll have to drop you some pic's and maybe a clip.

Pics don't show well at night But here's whats under mine

Front MBRP quiet tone muffler

Rear of Mbrp and front of Flowmaster. Before you ask, Red tubing and pump is for methanol injection.

Flowmaster Muffler, Much larger than the MBRP
