So the Max Payload Package is listed as "late availability" on the build and price website. What exactly does that mean? Anyone have any idea how late they might be talking about? I've already ordered the truck, and this is probably why I'm not seeing any movement on it after 3 weeks.

 

Not sure how long now , but They still haven't started producing any other "late availability " trucks, like those with 8' beds.

 

The HD trucks and 8' bed trucks are only built at the KC plant from what I understand. KC will not be operational for another month or so as they were still building 2014 models as Dearborn was transitioning over for the 2015 MY.

** Edit** I should add that you're probably in for a 3-4 month wait from mid-February based on some of the wait times other owners have experienced.

 

I ordered a SCrew with HD payload on Dec 16. No VIN or Build date yet.

 

I ordered mine on 10/22/2014 and it just went into production 2 days ago. It has max payload and shows Dearborn factory.

 

Do you mean Max Tow option or HD Payload option (or both)?

They are different.
