As another poster mentioned, payload is a more critical factor. For my truck, it is pretty darn good at 2049# as found on the actual sticker.

You can use this towing planner as a guide to see what you would tow w/payload as the limiter (assuming you can calculate/guess what your trucks actual payload capability will be): http://towingplanner.com/Calculators...0&bd=200&ct=TT
Wow thanks so much maybe it really wasnt worth waiting for it only raised payload 500lbs and made me lose out on tech packages
