Default Maintenance, then issues

My 2020 XLT 5.0L was approaching 59,000 miles.
I took it to a local garage and had the transmission fluid changed and the spark plugs changed. The garage installed the Autolite Iridium sparkplug. I got the truck back then a couple weeks later took a road trip to Vermont. No issues. Then on the return trip yesterday the check engine light came on. Odometer was at 58,800 miles and I figured it was about the 60,000 mile maintenance that was needed. Today ran a erron with my truck, check engine light was off. I figured the issue corrected itself. Then at 2pm today went for a coffee a few miles away. At the drive thru, the truck was kinda skipping. And did it the three miles back home. I wish now I didn't go to the local garage but right to the dealer. Any advice on my issues here.

Check for codes. Could be something simple.

Codes, codes, codes. The check engine light does not turn on to remind you of maintenance intervals. We need to know if there are any stored codes first before diagnosing. Could be misfires or something simple, but need the codes to point you in the right direction.

I have a appointment at the dealership tomorrow where I should of had the work done in the first place.
I had done business with the ower of the garage who did the work. I thought I'd return the favor and give him my business. He got $125. A hour labor. Total bill was
$1005.
Again a mistake on my part.

Dang--I don't think Ford would have charged that much for those 2 things!! I would take those autolites out and replace with ford Performance plugs that are a step colder! Betting those plugs are causing mis-fires from what you are saying!

If you do not have a code reader, take it to an auto parts store and they will read them for free. All we can do is provide guesses until the codes are provided.
