Default lug nuts

So I just read that the lug nut thread spec changed for the '15s to a M14 x 1.5. I'm looking at McGards and they have two lengths: 1.5" and 2". Does anybody know if the 1.5" length will work with aftermarket wheels or are they too short?

Thanks!

The 1.5 is not the length in inches, it is the thread pitch in mm (Fine Thread). I seem to remember that stock are 3.5 cm in thread length, but my recall ain't what it used to be.

I called McGard and they gave me a 24215 part number for the chrome lug nuts.

Thanks - did you install them? That's the shorter of the two lengths McGard has in M14 x 1.5.
