Lug nut torque
a) why? Because the Ford engineers said so, and in the absence of evidence to the contrary, I'm assuming they know what they're doing (or I wouldn't have bought the truck)

As mentioned above... and keep in mind they are testing the wheels and lugs to fairly extreme federal standards (loaded to gross weight, probably with a trailer, with substantial lateral acceleration - more than you will ever get out of the truck in the real world). They are engineering for when the truck gets hit... not just enough to keep the wheels on going down the road.
Why150ft/lbs? Seems a bit much.
And like I said in the other thread, if you can't handle 150#, don't buy a Ford Edge.
