Default Lowering

Can I safely lower my 2018 Supercrew 1 1/2” - 2” without screwing up ride or handling?
My wife has osteoporosis and is having trouble getting in my truck even with the running boards.

2wd shocks and the factory rear blocked removed should do the trick. I think i saw a little over an inch drop up front on mine, but others on here have gotten closer to that 1.5" drop from just the shock change on their Ecoboost SCrews (maybe the weight helps net that change). You can also do a rear lowering shackle if you want the bed a little lower.

Here's mine with 2wd Bilsteins, removed rear block and a 1.5" Maxtrac rear shackle to give you a general reference (stock size tires - 265/70/17).

Also look at the https://www.amp-research.com/powersteps instead of the factory ones. They drop down lower and make it an easier step-up into the cab.
