Default Lowered 2015 F150

I had a local suspension shop install a 2/4 lowering kit from crown suspension on my lariat sport.

The rear end sits how a normal 4" rear lowering kit would imo. The front however, sits significantly lower. Roughly 2".

I called crown to see what the deal was, they said this is normal because the rear end of the truck sits 3.5" higher than the front. This doesn't seem to make sense to me because the truck they lowered for SEMA is advertised as a 2/4 and has equal wheel gap both front and rear.

I'm thinking they may have sent me a 3" lowering coil rather than a 2".

Also, the alignment shop had issues getting my caster in spec and my camber is barely out of spec as well..
Could the caster being out of spec be causing some of this unleveled wheel gap issue?

I'll try to upload a better pic when I get off..

Thanks!

I assume these are 22" wheels? What size tires did you go with? Looks good!

You should have measured it before hand from the bottom edge of the wheel well lip to the center of the axle. You would then know exactly how much it dropped the front and rear.

It looks to me like the front has been dropped more than 2". This would explain your alignment problems. I dropped my 2013 2" in front with Belltech struts and it did not push the alignment to the limit.

Maybe you can find a truck exactly like yours on a dealer's lot and measure it like I said (it needs to be on level ground). You should be able to determine the real amount of drop you got with that info.

Good idea. I'll try to get up to the dealership after work.
I did some ground to fender flare measurements yesterday and I'm nearly 2" off. I wonder if putting the factory coils back on will sit me back up closer to the rear?
I'd rather it take towards the back than the front.

That looks good. I am waiting for BellTech with spindles. I spoke with Crown here in SoCal and they couldn't give me any feedback on the ride. Did you compromise much of a ride quality with their kit?

Sick looking truck!

Looks to be more than a 2" drop in the front for sure! Looks good thou! Maybe drop the rear to match the front?

Any chance you have pics of the blue 1fiddy behind your truck?

It's not factory but it's not bad at all. I can't comment on the front end because they sent me a 3" drop cool instead of a 2".
I really need a 1" to sit level.

I could lower the rear but i dont want to go that low. I would have to sit the rear at 6" drop to be level. Drops should really be 1"/4" 2"/5" 3"/6"

I would raise the front. The back looks fine, the front is little too low.
