Low idle
I have a 2016 F150 2.7L. My truck idles really low, about 700-600rpm. Every 10-15 seconds it dips below 50p and acts like it will stall, for just a moment, then it recovers. But it still remains idling low and it repeats this. Any advice on how to resolve this?
- How many miles on it?
- Have you ever changed spark plugs?
- Have you checked for DTCs?
- What fuel are you running?
- Is the A/C on or off?
- Is your air filter clean?
- Have you performed any maintenance other than oil changes, etc?
- Any modifications to the truck or is it stock?

Yes, about 10k miles ago
87 octaneBoth.
YesOil changes, spark plugs, air flow sensors, oil catch can, etc all maintained properly.
Engine is stock.
AC kicking on shouldn't nearly stall the truck. It just started doing this a month ago.
