Default Low idle

I have a 2016 F150 2.7L. My truck idles really low, about 700-600rpm. Every 10-15 seconds it dips below 50p and acts like it will stall, for just a moment, then it recovers. But it still remains idling low and it repeats this. Any advice on how to resolve this?

600 to 700 is normal.
The unstableness is a potential minor problem.
Is it the gas?
Is it coked intake valves etc.
The cause has to be identified before and fix can be applied.

Definitely not the gas, it's been doing it for about a month. Not sure what else could cause it.

Some questions:
  1. How many miles on it?
  2. Have you ever changed spark plugs?
  3. Have you checked for DTCs?
  4. What fuel are you running?
  5. Is the A/C on or off?
  6. Is your air filter clean?
  7. Have you performed any maintenance other than oil changes, etc?
  8. Any modifications to the truck or is it stock?

AC kicking on shouldn't nearly stall the truck. It just started doing this a month ago.

A crankshaft position sensor starting to go bad can cause erratic idle. Any DTCs?

mine did that (2 years ago) but would usually stall out unless you got on the gas in neutral. Dealer couldn't figure it out and the Ford hotline said replace the battery, hasn't done it since.

This might have something to do with it, my engine will die right down almost to a stall when I come to a stop with the air conditioning on.
