Default Love/hate relationship

Hey guys. Brand new here and don't blast me as a troll. Have had a 2016 for a little over a year and have roughly 20k on it. Kind of at a witts end with my lariat crew 4x4. So many little issues with it. Tires out of balance. Had the bed isolators changed because of freaking noises. Radio would never work right took 4 times to fix. Pickup makes a very noticeable popping noise when off camber going halfway slow like spare tire is loose but it's not. Then just the other day opened the power rear glass and heard a loud crunch. Guess the wire or something for the defrost caught on something behind that panel and ripped the defrost bracket off. Has anyone experience this many little nagging things wrong also?. Can't complain on the actual truck performance but seems the quality is lacking. Tried getting ford to lemon it because of radio and all the little things that keep going wrong but they said no because in their mind it wasn't serious enough. Vent over lol.

Sorry for your bad experience. I hope that your dealer at least takes care of you and fixing your truck.

None of these seem serious, and all but the rear window right now are fixed, correct?

I've never heard of a radio issue causing a vehicle to be eligible for a lemon law. Usually you have to have not had usage of your vehicle for a certain number of days as well as having it back in at least 3 times for the same issue. Anyway, sorry for your luck. I am not sure I would consider all this a quality issue since many of your issues are the first I've heard of them (bed noise, popping noise, rear window). The tire one baffles me. That should have been solved with one trip to the dealership.

My 2016 Lariat has had a number of issues that we are still working on. I admittedly knew of a number of them as possibilities because I lurked this forum a lot before buying.

The rear off camber noise is most likely a spring issue. I have it. There is a long post on it here somewhere that others have experienced the same. Going through the steps with the dealership now to get it resolved. Gentleman up the street from me had it as well and ultimately the spring swap fixed it.

I also had the problem of the Lariat Sport grill peeling. Ford fixed it under warranty. Then we had to fix the wheel flair and light damage the dealership did (but that is a different story).

Next thing to get repaired is the satellite antenna (I have the cutouts as described in another post) and the leaking third brake light. We are also working a factory paint issue.

Having said all that, I love my truck. I just happened to get one with a number of the issues whereas so many others only get a single issue. Sounds like you did as well. Had I not been aware of them, I probably would have more aggravated. Thank God this forum gave me the ammunition to walk in with the fix and the dealership I now use (after the other repair problems) has been very helpful.
