Default LOUD ventilation when recirculating...

Same fan speed, same air routing, same everything...when I engage 'recirculate' the air movement noise gets significantly louder and shifts from deep in the dash to right above the glovebox. Typical? It all works fine, just loud AF.

Normal. If you note the fan speed increases in recirculate

Typical on every vehicle in the universe. The recirc door is in the passenger footwell, and the fan is right behind it. Choose Recirc, door opens, hear fan.

Fan speed doesn't change with Recirc. You hear more fan noise because Recirc opens a door between the fan and cabin.

OK then, normal I guess...but so much more pronounced in this vehicle than anything else I've ever owned!
