Default Looking for a 'new' tailgate....

I'm looking locally but figured I'd check here to see if anyone had access to a 15-17 tailgate I can put on my '17 XLT SCrew.

I'll need one with a step and I should be able to move over the locking mechanism and get it PTM but will need to obtain one at some point.

Tons on Ebay. Here's a black one, you may not need to get painted.

No, they are two totally different tailgates. I looked into it a while back. I don't think that the parts are interchangeable either.

craiglist could be your friend. I used to go to truck accessory places and buy take off beds for 200 to 300 and flip them for $1000 or more. Maybe just Maybe they might have some tailgates you could get your hands on cheap.

There is a cherry blue one on my local CL that was a take-off, but no step dirt cheap. Tried there yet? (craigslist)
