It's for the intelligent access key. You can touch it to lock it as you leave the car if the key for is not handy.

Just to confirm: The white wall Goodyear Wranglers only come on the 4x4s? Michelins on 2x4s?

Don't you think the KR is worth the extra $4k over the Lariat with the better leather, interior, and massage seats??

For me, yes. But I know everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I personally like the look of the KR and don't mind paying a little more for it.
