Default Login for x-plan

Hi there. Does anyone have a code I can use to log in to the x plan website? Once in, I just build the vehicle I want, then deduct the current incentives and rebates to get my true price, right?

Maybe I'm stupid and got screwed; but I don't quite understand the point of the X-plan. When I made the deal on mine, I was OTD for way less than the X-plan price they showed me initially a couple days prior when I first went looking...

The dealer I went too said they sell everything at invoice and its lower than x-plan. I tend to trust this coming from family. They however wouldn't budge any lower than invoice.

BTW, X-Plan is not the end all of pricing a vehicle, no more than the dealer's invoice price is.

But, if you don't want to negotiate, it is the easy way out. Just remember, the total price is X-Plan + Doc Fees. In my state, X-Plan would save me $400 in doc fees, because all the dealers here charge $499.

That being said, using that access code allowed me to price a 2017 Edge Titanium, and X-Plan only saves me about 4% off window sticker.

I'm pretty sure I can beat that, even with the doc fee benefit. I did that on my truck, the deal + doc fees was still about $700 less than X-Plan. That is a starting point if you like to haggle.

  • Dealers will be permitted to assess up to $100 in documentary fees on each delivery to an eligible purchaser under the terms of the Plan

I've posted this at lest a dozen times now. No need to guess:

A/Z Plan: Invoice - Holdback - Advertising Fee + $275 program fee where Holdback = 3%*(MSRP - destination charge). A-plan is available to Ford employees, Z plan to Ford retires.

X Plan: Invoice - 0.4% + $275 program fee
So this is typically a little more than Invoice price (due to the $275 program fee). We can solve for the break even invoice price over which X plan will be lower: Invoice * (1-.4%) = 275, so
they would be equal at Invoice = 275/.004 = $68,750. So, X-plan would be better than invoice once the invoice prices was >= $68,750. On a 50K invoice: x-plan = 50,000*.996 + 275 = $50,075.

D-Plan: A/Z Plan + $100. D-plan is available to dealers and their employees.

If you can't get below Invoice, you aren't trying hard enough.
