I have a 2019 STX with the blade type key. I have noticed since new it has issues becoming “stuck” in the unlock position until the parking lights go off. After that, I am able to lock it again. It’s a pain trying to get the remote start to work seeing as it times out before I am able to lock the truck back to get it to start. Anyone have any ideas on what the cause is or what the issue is? It does it with both keys.

 

I haven't had that particular issue, but mine doesn't like it when you have the door open while turning off the ignition. If so, the interior and dash lights will stay on after locking the doors.

Also, it doesn't like when you close the tailgate several minutes after the doors have been locked using the remote. Alarm might sound within seconds, or a few hours later...

The map and dome lights can be frustrating too if you had them on and they timed-out before you exited the truck. Then you have to get back into the truck and turn-on the ignition to turn them off.

I end up discovering most of these quirks in the wee hours of the morning when trying to hurry up into the woods deer hunting.
