Default Lock on the center console.

Possibly everyone knows this but me, but I just found a lock on the center console... Pretty cool!

Yes, you should have got an extra key for it. I think it fits the spare tire area too. There is a hidden one in the fob.

HUH. Owners manual says nothing about locking the console just that it has a locking console... Learn something everyday LOL

I hadn't even looked at it, didn't even know it locked. I'll check later. I would have thought the ignition key would fit it as well.

I'm sure those of you that have a truck that uses a old fashioned ignition key will find it fits. If that trim level comes with a console & spare tire lock.

But many of the owners of the push button start truck didn't get handed the console/ spare tire lock key.. And many weren't told about the spare key inside the fob by their sales person.. Heck mine told me they don't have one! Only after dropping the fob and having it open up and the key falling out did I find mine.

I dunno I can't get behind those push button ignitions. I had a car with one for a while and it never felt right. Same thing with that new Dodge Ram transmission ****...it's odd. I prefer a good ol' key personally.
