I have the stock 20” Hankooks on my truck and would like to go with a 6 ply on my next set. I had the stock “C” load range tires on my last f150 that were the oem 18’s and I loved them. But I don’t see any thing in a 275/55 20 but E load range. What am I missing????

 

I have Nitto Terra Grappler G2's with XL load range @2833 per tire It's more than enough for a 1/2 ton.

I guess they only go with D or E load range on 20's

 

I'm having a difficult time locating load-range C tires for my rig also. Right now I'm running 285/65r20 (harsh ride), but will be dropping to 17" wheels when these TAKO-2s run down.

The shop I normally go through allows for online ordering (like most places), but I have noticed that there are many more choices for the guys at their office. I went in for balance & rotation and asked them to run some quotes and they were able to come up with more options than I could using the website, including load-range C options.

Short version: Stop in at your favorite wheel & tire shop and ask them to look it up in their system. They may see more options in their system that aren't shown online.
