Default LLumar Tint Prices

Hey all. Just traded my 2013 Lariat 3.5Eco for a new 2018 KR 3.5Eco 4x4. Wow what a difference since my 13. So far I'm very happy with the upgrade.

Looking to have LLumar installed to reduce heat and protect the interior. Planning to do clear windshield, back doors, back window, and full roof. Also want to do 30% on the front windows.

I'm in the North AL area and got a quote for this. They said $980 "on sale". I know it's premium tint and it's been a while since I paid for tint, but does this seem like a reasonable price? Hoping I can get some feedback on what others are paying for my type of install.

Having sticker shock right now, but maybe this is the new reality.

Thanks for the input.

Llumar isn't exactly premium tint. I did windshield and 4 sides in 3M Crystalline (one of the best, if not the best, tints out there) for somewhere in the $700 range.

I would use the 3M dealer locator to find a dealer that is Crystalline certified... go talk to them.

I was quoted $350 for Llumar CTX (ceramic, good tint) on the four doors' windows + rear glass from one installer. Another quoted $375 for same, and then Clear Air 80 $175 for full windshield and $150 for a full panoramic moonroof (I don't have that but they didn't know so listed it as an option). So that lands at a quoted price of $700 for everything including pano sunroof and full windshield.

I ended up, so far, just doing the CTX on the four windows and a strip across the top of the windshield for a total of $250

I'm glad I asked the group. Looks like I need to keep shopping to find a better price. Thanks for all of the input!

Just like 3m, Llumar makes an entire range of window tints, topped by their Formula One Pinnacle and Stratos lines, which are indeed premium.
