Line-X vs. Factory spray in bedliner
#12
Line X covers more area, is thicker, and most likely has better resistance to chemicals and UV. I never owned a factory liner but when looking at the dealer, I wasn't too impressed. Especially when they said its worth, IIRC, $550. Hell I could go Line X with that.

I like my factory liner, though I would probably line-x it next time.

I've had LineX in my 2012 and they stripped all the screw holes holding the tailgate liner they had removed to spray underneath, but as far as the coating, no complaints.
Decided to get the factory bed spray for a bit less and i'm happy with it as well.

I agree with one of the above posts. The factory one is thinner, which isn't really a bad thing. It seems like the tie downs and other stuff might be easier on the thinner coating It also might be a little more skid resistant. I have had Line-X is some older trucks of mine and it is quite a bit thicker. My opinion is they are both quality and either one of the systems is money well spent. I would say if you are really hard on the bed of the truck and drop a bunch of heavy stuff in it the LineX would be better.

it's ground effects ltd, they have locations at both KC (in the caves, as shown in the video) and outside the dearborn and louisville (super duty) plants as well.

I asked my dealer to throw in the LineX for free after I set the price with them... to close the deal. they did. Last truck I got LineX at the Dealer Cos; t it was $300
