Default Line-X Issue

I had my bed sprayed with line-x premium on Tuesday. They told me to wait 24 hours before shutting the tail gate. After 24 hours I went to shut my tailgate and it would not latch. I noticed they sprayed right into the holes where the latches are and they were completely covered. I'm taking the truck back Thursday to see what they will do. Has anyone else had this issue?

Had a Line-X on my 2012 and a Ford factory spray liner on my 2015. I'm no expert but that doesn't look right. Neither was sprayed into the latch area. Why would you spray into the latch mechanism? Good luck

That is just **** poor. Someone did not cover the area up. Why would you spray a locking mechanism.

My Line-X dealer never said anything about not shutting the tailgate.

Mine did not say that either. That's B.S.

Was your dealer a Platinum authorized shop? The Line-X shops authorized to spray on the Platinum version receive additional training and from my understanding are better. I would contact the dealership and find out where they send their trucks to be Line-X'd.

I would be interested in knowing what LineX shop this is. They need to be called out for the idiots they are.

I don't think they are a platinum authorized shop. I got the spray off of the latch and it still won't shut. It just makes a loud thud. I'll post what they say and do.
