Line X in car wash

Line X in car wash
Does anybody have Line X and use an automatic car wash (without a bed cover)? The Line X website says that it is OK to use a car wash with it but I would like information from actual owners. I don't have Line X now but I am thinking about having it installed. Also, does it allow water to drain through the bed or does it hold water like a drop in liner?

Line x is like a real thick very strong paint. A car wash will not hurt it.
The bed has gaps at the corners for draining. Just make sure the installer doesn't plug the cracks. Although some folks that use a cover want the holes plugged to keep out the dust.

I have run mine through the tunnels multiple time and the Ford spray in coating is not affected is any way. The material is quite robust and even chemical resistant.
Mine does not hold water or it drains through the gate. A good sunny day the the black finish heats up and evaporates any water.

Have had it in my 2016 for two years now. No issues and water drains fine. And if it doesn’t drain fast enough out of the front of the bed, it will put the back between the tailgate and bedwhen you leave the car wash and press on the gas. 😉
