Is the Limited worth the price?
 

Probably lot of different opinions...but..
I'm getting out of a 19 Silverado LTZ. Long story short, I bought it in Dec and it has literally been in the shop more days than I've been able to drive it.

So, it's truck month. Looks like you can use either the dealer rebates OR the 0% for 72. Math wise, the 0% comes out better for me.

But is the Limited worth the extra price? My wife loves the interior. The engine upgrade is nice...but it's not night and day difference over the Platinum. 20s or 22s...really doesn't matter to me as I'm not a huge fan of any of the factory wheels.

I'd appreciate some input here. I have a few days to decide as my Silverado is in the shop right now and I have to wait until it's fixed to trade it in. I've already put in my app to hold the 0% but the price difference between the two trucks is really bugging me.

Tough question, it’s a personal preference if the interior, folding running boards is worth another 5-8K over the Lariat then yes it is worth it.

Its worth it, if you can afford to have all the bells and whistles. Also if don't like to have a basic vehicles all the others have to drive.
I would not ask anyone a vehicle question, all my friends know can afford anything I want. They can not, so you know their replies.
Cash buyer here, no interest to be considered over the course of a loan, which adds up on 70 to 100K vehicle prices.
A Raptor might have been ok, all do is drive down Home D and Wal Mart, But its cool looking which checks boxes for me.

Just be aware the limited has very low payload and towing capacities. Very low.

Yes those 22" rims mean no max tow compared to all other f-150 trims. no 6.5 box either If I recall correctly. personally I don't like that interior color.

Only you can answer if it's worth it to you or not.

Up to you, but I ordered a 19 Limited last July, came in first of year. Love it. To me it is worth the extra dollars, but it is a personal thing with each buyer.

Like you already pointed out in your original post, really comes down to personal preference. I don’t think it is worth the premium price over a Platinum, especially not with the big price hike to the Ltd for 2019. Sure you get the Raptor motor for 2019, but the regular 3.5 eco has plenty of power imo. Then you also have the lower payload and the god awful looking 22” wheels. The paint colors are also more limited on the Limited, guess that makes sense. lol The big positive for the Limited is that it’s pretty easy to shop for one since there aren’t too many options. Pretty much pick a color and go.

No new vehicle is worth the price.
