Default Light behind grill

Has anyone mounted lights other than a led light bar behind the grill? I have a 16 xlt 2.7EB and would like to add lights behind the grill but I'm not a fan of light bars.

I’ve seen all sorts of sizes and types of lights.
You might post a pic of your grill so folks can see what you have to work with.

I don't think you can, the active shutters prevent it. If you find out something let me know, I also don't like the led light bars and would like to mount 2-3 cube type off road lights.

Remember this is for 2015+ so not all trucks in this section will have active shutters. Also, some have disconnected the shutters so they're open all the time and installed light bars...some also have disconnected them without mounting lights or anything because they are apparently better engineers than the team at Ford.

There is enough space behind the grill to mount some smallish lights, even with the shutters. However, depending on the style grill....there may need to be some trimming to mount the lights.
I have seen a number of decent lights that are of a size you could probably mount behind the grill, such as the KC Flex lights.
