So i bought a Recon Scanning light bar and finally had it installed beginning of June. First off, everytime i step on the break the thing has a seizure. It's fine as long as i'm not on the break. Second was the guy who installed it didn't know where to put it and put it ON my tailgate...any easy ways to get it off and replace it where it's supposed to be, and does anyone know how to fix the break issue or have a light bar that works perfectly?

 

How is it fastened? If its double sided tape, you can try to just get the tape started and then gently pry it off with your fingers. If all else fails you can cut it off using fishing line in a sawing motion.
