Default Leveling Kit Shock Question

Hey folks - looking to pick up a 2" Rough Country leveling kit and I was wondering if I really needed to change the rear shocks. I have seen kits both with and without shocks and I actually like the stock shocks. Appreciate any thoughts.

No need for shocks just to change the front height, unless you're also raising the rear with with an increased block height.

Most of the kits seem to think that when you replace the front height you will automatically assume the replacement shock will make you smile from ride quality. If you are satisfied how it rides now you don't need shocks.
Ride could be improved with the new shock, or it may be worse. Depends on what you are after for an end result.
