Default Leveling kit install?

Hi guys, I did a level on my 09,and went very smooth and simple. Attempted to install on my 16, struggled for hours, then just put it all back together with no spacer. I've seen lots of conflicting information, drive lower strut bolts out to clear, remove Cv's, drop lower a arm... Ect.
I tried driving the bolts out, those suckers didn't budge. Would also like to avoid removing shafts due to potential iwe problems. Can anybody shine some light on this for me? Many thanks in advance!!!

I've done it on 2 2015s now. I just remove the tie rod, sway bar link and of course the upper ball joint. I pry from the bottom of the shock to pull the bottom shock bolts out. It takes some work but it does come out. Same with hammering the bottom bolts out. Keep the nut on them and hammer away. Took me about 5 mins to get them out. But of course you have to get the strut out before you can hammer them out. So it sounds like you got the strut out?

Ya, I got the strut out, had it clamped in a vice to eliminate bounce from the spring. I wailed on the bolts with a mini sledge, and the wouldn't budge. I didn't want to break them, so I gave up on them.

Ive heard of some folks having issues but I've been able to get 2 sets out with a smaller hammer. Maybe try some pb blaster and let it set for a minute.
