The have posted the new lift on their Ford performance website for $1495 as its "Tuned by Ford Performance"

I really think they had a cheaper lift before this new one which was very similar for sale on the Ford Performance website.
That's a nice setup, no doubt. They advertise it levels the truck. From what I've gathered, it's a 2" level, so if you've got a 3" rake like I did, no way it's gonna level. Plus the dealer install, even it includes an alignment, for say, $650, it's more than I would consider to pay. $300-$350 I feel would be more in line. It isn't hard to do.

Additionally, I copied both these Ford install URL's in the event Ford gives you any ***** on a suspension warranty. If they are selling them and installing them approved by their dealers they certainly can't disapprove a private install, especially at the place I had mine done. They do 2 - 3 newer F150's a week and have been for some years. From what I understand Ford is saying (unoffically) that a front 2" level is their limit for suspension warranty issues in that event. Just a CYA thing........

I can see that, even though you can go higher with no problem on the 13th gen. Yep, being a little conservative for the CYA thing.

You can find this online for $80 and under, but Ford marked it up to about $270 plus labor and alignment. If I had known what the part was I might have bought it online and shopped around for a good install deal. But overall I'm happy with the appearance and if I have an issue I think I may have luck following up with the dealer.
So the leveling kit lists the front end so that it doesn’t look like it has a “California rake”? Are there any positive/negative driving/off road characteristics when doing this.

Is adding these relative easy to do or does it require special tools? Thanks.

The Ford performance leveling kit is more than just a simple level. They're changing some suspension components along with leveling the truck. This is similar to what is included with the Mopar leveling kit for Ram 1500s which also runs about 2 grand.

You can do it right or on the cheap and pay for the problems later.

After looking into this Ford Performance leveling/suspension kit when the information came out a couple months ago, I believe, it seems to me the 36 month new vehicle warranty will not be valid anymore for factory suspension parts still on the vehicle and the Ford Performance suspension (FOX) parts have a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty.

The Ford Performance warranty specifically states under the F150 leveling section,

"Installation of these select Ford Performance warranted suspension leveling kits by an authorized installer will NOT void your New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Engine, driveline and suspension concerns not caused by the use of Ford Performance parts remain eligible for warranty coverage according to the terms of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty."

This means to me, Mr. Skeptical, that the original factory warranty on remaining factory suspension is gone. Simply because Ford will say the Ford Performance parts caused the issue and there is no warranty. And of course extended warranties are out the window for suspensions also.

I like the kit but is the cost worth it when, I preceive at least, the warranty loss on the remaining factory suspension parts. Is it that much better than Bilstein 5100s all around for non-off road/rock crawling?

GD

I had the dealer install the Roush leveling kit. Per the service manager, the factory and extended warranty will remain intact at his dealership. They sell at lot of lifted vehicles, and said they’ve covered everything under warranty as long as it was purchased and installed there. I did have an issue with my alignment after it was installed. Not only did they fix the alignment, but they replaced the 2 front tires that were starting to show some wear.

We are speaking of THIS simple 2" level by Ford dealers:

https://www.trailfx.com/trailfx/susp...LL3--TLFF25LL3

NOT the performance kit, just the simple 2" level regarding any chicken-***** warranty issues with a dealer that may show up later.
