Default Leveling kit and AEB sensor

I was searching and didn't see much info in regards to this. I just picked up the Eibach Stage 1 level kit yesterday and called my regular go to mechanic to see when he could get it in, and he asked what year the truck is. I told him its a '19 and he said he does not have the tools to recalibrate the sensors for the AEB or any other sensors. Does the truck need to go to a Ford dealer? Do people not get the sensors recalibrated? Do they not need recalibrated? I'm confused...

Emergency braking is controlled based on rate of approach as far as I know; pitching the nose of the truck up 0.73 degrees (assuming 157" wheelbase and 2" level) would have minimal if any effect. That's 2.5' elevation change at 200' distance if we were talking about a sight picture; still well inside the visible cross section of a car at that distance.

I can't logically justify his comment unless my assumption about how it works is just way the hell off. I don't see anyone here ever talking about collision avoidance recalibration from a level.

I'm using a 2.5 level with coilovers on my 2020, and didn't recalibrate the AEB either. As MarkA mentioned, I haven't heard of anyone doing it either. I did have mine activate, warning only, by approaching a steeper hill at 60mph. I did adjust the sensitivity down after that.
