Which leveling kit is it? Most people don't have to get a camber kit, just toe in, tie rods are angled down now shorter. Maybe something to do with those inward bolts you talked about.

I purchased the MotoFab kit. I also had that kit on my 09' Scab. The difference I encountered when I installed it in the '15 was in the strut itself. The bottom bolts were actually pressed into the strut, as opposed to being able to remove them on the '09. That necessitated getting the lower control arm to travel farther down to remove the strut. The only way I was able to get that done was to remove the control arm bolts completely and drop the whole assembly down. When I put it back together, I couldn't get the adjustments back to where it was. There probably was an easier way to do it without removing them, but I couldn't figure out an easier way.

Do you have a link to the camber kit? I'd just like to see what it was.

Amazon.com: Moog K100025 Alignment Caster/Camber Kit: Automotive Amazon.com: Moog K100025 Alignment Caster/Camber Kit: Automotive

Just an eccentric nut & keeper that allows adjustment of the camber by spinning it with a wrench

You either didn't get something back together right or you need a different mechanic, or whoever told you, that you need a camber kit.
