Which lettering do you prefer for the tailgate?
I ended up buying two sets of lettering for the stamped f-150 on the tailgate.
First were the vinyl matte finish stickers. Which came in an OEM packaging.
The other set is the glossy plastic type. I like emblems that have some substance to them like the factory would use.
I'm wondering about the plastic and how the finish will hold up. Are they going to be the type of plastic that has fine scratches just by looking at them, sort of like my door pillars?
Or are the thin vinyl matte finish stickers the way to go? Seems like they'd be the most durable.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

i would go with vinyl .. however matte vs gloss will depend on the color of the truck.. for a dark colored truck matte.. for a light colored truck gloss

I got the matte finish inserts on mine and love it. It’s magnetic as well. I didn’t want to do the vinyl since I wanted to fill the indentions to have it all flush. Very happy with mine and seem to be pretty solid and not easily scratched

I have a Lightning Blue truck, and I was actually considering black gloss with red surround, should match the new red highlight emblems I am looking to add this summer!

I'd have a body shop fill in the F150 stamp and smooth it out. J/K
