Default Lemon Law - Door Latch Issue

Has anyone had their truck bought back yet due to this issue?

I called about it. Was told it would be months before parts would come in. I don't think I'll worry about it since it is a non issue for me.

Yes. one morning my door was hard to open, but i got it open and then the door (drivers side rear) wouldnt shut back. took it to our local dealer and they replaced all the door latches.

I'm specifically asking if anyone has had their truck bought back by Ford, for failing to resolve the door lock/latch issue.

I haven't heard of anyone in the forums getting a buyback for that. There are a number of factors for a buyback as I'm sure you are aware to include time out of vehicle for repairs. It would be a major battle, especially now that there is a recall and the argument will be that it is being fixed.

While I don't disagree with you, many including myself had the TSB done, are ineligible for the recall and are still dealing with this issue. Embarrassing, annoying and unsafe. Never had this on my 2014 nor do we have it on the 2016 Fusion we own, that costs half as much.

youll have to give them a "reasonable" number of attempts (usually 3 or 4) at fixing it before you can even think about lemon lawing it.

If you've read the threads about this issue many are at over that number of visits. I'm not at the lemon law threshold personally, but legally I'm there. Love my truck aside from this BS. I'd just buy another F150 myself, but trying to hold off until 19s are out.

Taking video every time I open the doors to verify they are inoperative versus working is getting old...
