Lemon Law

when the truck is physical built and ready for shipping they can build the worksheet. They use the real Cost which can’t be done until built. For me every worksheet took a minimum of a month to produce. Definitely recommend following up with RAV Analyst the date it is complete. Stay on them until you have a completed worksheet. In my case they were always wrong, my truck waited for another 3 weeks at dealership after built. My dealership wouldn’t release truck until they had physical check. Even with a FedEx tracking number they had to wait for Physical check. Bottom line many dealerships do not trust RAV Group (Concentrix).

Sounds awful. How does taking new trucks MSRP and subtracting your old trucks MSRP take a month to produce? Nuts. Also, how do you know when its "built"? Keep checking the build website every day? What "check" are you referring to, that had to get in the dealers hands? I fear mine will be more complicated bc my band won't swap VINs on the loan. I have to get a brand new one.

Swappping VIN on loan is a bank deal. In my case I got a new loan. I think Ford May allow VIN swap no idea.
no matter what you do a total PIA but most important protect your financial interest and turn it into a win. Best of luck!!

The “check” makes the dealer whole, they aren’t losing the depreciation of Lemon which isn’t worth the value they give. Ford or specifically Concentrix sends a check for the amount to dealer. Don’t make the mistake that this is a “Customer Satisifaction” program, it is designed to save Ford $$. Personally I did extremely well but I fought and in the end they didn’t keep word which cost me $3k. Bottom line I saved a lot but they didn’t honor their commitment. The whole process beats you down like insurance settlement, only other way is Lawyer up and outsource the process.

The loan payoff has no impact on what truck is worth. So net is you get credit for old MSRP and pick a new MSRP, that is what you owe minus any credit. Concentric owes Dealer difference between bank payoff and what it was worth.
Hope that helps feel free to go private if needed.

You all are starting to scare me.
I bought my truck straight out, started having issues at the 600 mile mark. Spent over 50 days at dealer on three separate visits. Left me stranded with various no starts.
Ordered replacement.
Truck is at dealer.
New msrp is about $1500 more than old.
It better be that simple, or I will go into orbit.

If the new vehicle costs more than the old one for the same options, they will usually offer an incentive of some sort.
I had an issue with a Dodge a few years ago and the new car cost $150 more than the old one due to destination charge increases. Because of that, the dealer reduced my use fee by $1500. It's a rule they have in the books that if the new vehicle costs more than the old one, they try to offset it. You may be ok with the $1500 more cost. Ford might just eat it to keep you happy.

At this point, I am not looking to capitalize, just want it done. I get a one year newer truck after all.

They sent a worksheet, and I just accepted. It was exactly as I wanted, msrp differential which I will pay; I just want this over and done with. I lose a bit on some of the accessories like clear bra, but I am gonna peel that off to see if I can save the bug deflector attached to it. Maybe the wheel liners. It's literally a blizzard out there, and hope to do this tomorrow.
