Default Leftover 2016 Pricing

I found a leftover 2016 with everything that I'm looking for... What kind of dealer discount should I shoot for on this truck? I'm thinking at minimum 12% off MSRP minus rebates of $6700

I just bought a 2016 lariat with a MSRP of 58700 and dealer had it for 49990. I got the dealer down to 48500 then the first responder money so 47500. Hope this helps

My local dealer has almost 15k off a nice Lariat. I jokingly asked if they could get me the same payment I'm at currently for the same term and they said close but not that low.

invoice is ~40,400, holdback is 1,316, advertising allowance is generally around 600. That is your starting point for a BEFORE rebate price because the truck is 13.5 months old.

"Off MSRP" should not be in your vocabulary.

Invoice (which the dealer should show you) minus rebates is a good starting point. For discussion is holdback, which is 3% of MSRP. Advertising is listed right in the invoice, but they pay that regardless so good luck on getting any of that.

I wouldn't buy a 2016 at this point over a 2017, when 2018s are just rolling out.

I got $12.5k off MRSP on my 2016 back in December of 2016. So if there are 2016's left, they should be close to $15k off MRSP.

you're not going to get 15k off of a 45k sticker. 15k off of 52k, maybe.

I got 7000$ off a MSRP 58k 2016 back at the beginning of feb. This was invoice and holdback. Truck sat on their lot for 11 months prior to me buying it.
