Hello everyone, new member from New Jersey here. I introduced myself on the "introduction" page a little while back. I have recently ordered a pretty loaded XLT and haven't been able to answer this question through searching: how do you get factory installed LED puddle lights on an XLT?

I just went back to the dealer and walked the lot looking at all the XLTs and the only one that had the lights was an XLT with BLIS. Is this the determining factor? I ordered my truck with BLIS so I am hoping this is the case. Thanks in advance and can't wait to take delivery.

On the XLT trim, in order to get puddle lamps you have to order the Spot Lamp option

 

I have the spot light and puddle lights really like them. They came on my truck.

 

Ok, thanks. I wasn't sure because on the Ford website, the picture of the LED side mirror spotlights is misleading. There is no mention of puddle lights, and the picture references "side mirror spotlights" as well as a graphic showing light protruding out from the vehicle, not down.

 

Option 59S:

LED Side-mirror Spotlights (with High-Intensity LED Security Approach Lamps; req. 54R Manual-folding, Power Glass Sideview Mirror (54R is optional on XLT Base, included on XLT Mid and Luxury) or 59S is required with 54Y Manual-folding, Manually Telescoping, Power Glass Trailer Tow Mirrors)
