Default LED Modules - Necessary or Not?

I have a 16 XLT that I am looking to replace the factory bulbs on. We're talking the standard reflector housing with halogen bulbs.

I'm strongly considering the GTR CSP Mini for the low beams, and either the same or the V4 for the highs. I do a good bit of night time driving, and the factory bulbs are starting to dim. These would be a big upgrade in clarity.

Here's my sole bit of hesitation: the CANBUS. For those bulbs, would one be necessary? Will they work with the automatic headlights without it?

Any experience would be appreciated. This is all new to me.

the V4 have the proper IC so they are PnP.

If you install LEDs or HIDs into any halogen housing, I don't care how much you adjust them, you are still an ***hole and endanger everyone on the road with your unfocused, scattering, blinding headlights.

Do it legally with projectors or OEM LEDs or don't do it at all. Halogen housings are designed for HALOGENS. NOT LEDs or HIDs.
