Default LED on Intelligent Access Remote Control

So the key fob thing that has the lock/unlock, remote start, drop the tailgate & panik alarm buttons on it is reported to have a Green/Red LED & sayd it does on the little plastic tab that came on it.

However, when we use the remote start, no light is seen...what's the location of the LED on the key fob & why would it not be working.

The light is located at the top of the silver bar in between the Lock/Unlock buttons. When I use remote start, I do the [Lock, start button twice] sequence. Once the engine successfully starts, I get a green flash x 1.

I don't know why the light wouldn't be working except for the obvious - bulb broken/burnt out. I would say battery, but if everything else is working it's most likely not the battery.

I have noticed that the 2-way feature does not have the same range as the remote start itself. I have to be fairly close to get the green LED to flash. When I'm at work I start it from several hundred feet away, inside the building and get no flash from the LED.

Yes, I have noticed that also. It's good that the remote start has timed settings so the truck won't just run and run if you have started it but don't know for sure.

Also, the green LED on a successful start is very difficult to see when outside in the daylight. The red is much more visible.
