LED conversion attempt #2
Hello, just wanted to update the crowd here on my experience since purchasing my 2016 F-150 Lariat.
I immediately identified the need to upgrade the stock halogen setup, and purchased the Anzo housings in 2017. I followed this forum, and decided on 4x4LED since they seemed to have a strong following and advertising push here.
4x4LED turned out to be a disaster. Poor output, numerous problems. I tore the light assemblies out of my truck countless times between troubleshooting and replacing components. Their customer service was also not what I would call, "professional". 1 out of 5 stars I would say.
Well the second bulb burned out recently, they lasted appx 3 years. 65,000 miles. I decided to try a new bulb.
Went with F150LED MKV 9,000 lumen XHP Cree setup (H7 aftermarket). So far, I can say, the light output is significantly better than 4x4LED. Somewhat pricey at $219. I will follow up if reliability is a concern.
