Default LED Bulbs - Need help

Hey guys,

I have a 2017 F-150 XLT 302A with stock halogen headlights. I eventually want to probably upgrade to Anzo headlights cause I like the dark housing and outlined LEDs for the DRLs.

However, right now I’m looking for a more budget friendly upgrade to simply change out my low, high, and fog light bulbs to white LEDs.

I’m reading a lot of info on these and many opinions and seeing price points ranging from $35 a set to $150+ a set. I’m looking a majority opinion of the right brand and size headlights for the low, high, and fog that is budget friendly but that also aren’t junk and have good life.

Also looking to keep it simple with plug and play. Don’t really want extra wiring, harnesses, or bigger dust covers if I can avoid it.

My plan would be when I get the money for the Anzos I would swap these same LED bulbs to put in them (because I’ve heard bad things about the bulbs that come in the Anzos out of the box) and then sell my factory headlights with the halogen bulbs.

Thoughts???

My advice for aftermarket bulbs, Crystalux were no good, I had 2 bulbs burn out, they replaced the first, then when the 2nd went, I threw them in the trash. same thing with their projector fog lights, the electrical pins rotted out

Have had very good service from Headlight Revolution who recomended SuperNova v.30 for my 2017 ( these are NOT the same as cheaper SupernovaLED brand).
My son installed DD SL1's in his 2019 and likes them a bunch. KM

I second headlight revolution they do a ton of research and have a ton videos on YouTube I went with supernova v.4 for my 19 xlt high and low beam bulbs they have a 5 year warranty and are plug and play with the driver's included you have to make sure you have the led chips facing 3 and nine position or they will scatter everywhere

if you are gonna upgrade the headlights dont bother with LEDs for now. good ones cost some money and YOU WILL NOT be able to use them in the new headlights, they all take different bulbs. By the time you spend 125ish for cheapos or 300ish for good ones(for a set of hi,low, fogs)you are well on your way to aftermarket lights. the 15-17 lights have come way down in price just wait a little or order them now, good deals can be had. especially the guy selling his above a nice used set is the way to go, I have an 2019 otherwise id have bought them. And BTW the cheap LEDs have a crappy cutoff and alot of glare, they are better than stock halogen, but take alot of adjusting to reduce glare and others flashing you
