Default Leather seat problems

When is Ford going to take responsibility for their leather seat problems? My 2018 started wrinkling and getting loose probably in the first 2 weeks I had it. It sounds like this has been going on since at least 2016. My dealer told me today that Ford is going to do nothing. We need to spread the word to make sure future customers are aware of this problem .

When I was shopping, test drove a ‘18 lariat at my local dealer with 643 Miles. The drivers seat looked like it had 30k Miles. What’s funny is, my daughter drove me home from the dealer in her 30 year old Accord with 260k Miles, and her drivers seat looked like new.

My seats on my 2016 still look like they're brand new 22K later. I bought $700 seat covers because I saw all the noise about the wrinkles and experienced it in my 2015...I'm glad I did, but it's pretty sad to have spent all that extra money on leather seats just to have to protect them with neoprene to keep them from looking like crap. My dealership conveniently said they wouldn't cover my warranty claim for the seats on my previous truck despite a TSB being out for it. So...wet akoles went on only a few weeks after we took delivery of the 2016 and it wasn't driven until then.

Our 14 edge seats look good at 100k.
My f150 with 30k look way older on all seats. Wrinkle city.
My friends 13 ram looks just like new at 150k. And he weighs 2x me.
I thought the extra stiching in 18 might be the cure. Guess not.

My local dealer has probably 130+ f150's on the lot. I would guess less than 15 have factory leather. They routinely upgrade their XLT's to aftermarket leather because they claim it is better than factory. I took their word for it and i plan to upgrade my XLT one day.
