Default Leasing question

probably a stupid question here, but has anyone ever used the lease calculator on the Ford website with the correct capitalization cost the dealer is using and get a completely different number??? I mean practically half the cost???

the lease calculator doesnt take into account taxes, dealer fees and assumes you'll be putting money down.

Yes that is correct. I have made the capitalized cost equal to what the dealer told me the cap amount would be. there are no taxes in my situation as we pay them on each lease invoice. So aside from there I am very confused how they came up with it

Is the dealer using a different money factor? Huge down payment, etc?

The calculator at leasehackr.com works really well.

I found it to be pretty accurate. We paid the taxes up front and was not part of the lease.
